Unlike us, many Canberra plumbers and Queanbeyan plumbers are changing to fixed rate charges. These charges are never based on best case scenarios.
This means you will likely be paying a lot more when a plumber attends your home to do simple plumbing repairs. It is also likely that the plumber will be expecting to upsell and leave your home with a lot more money than you were originally quoted.
We aim to be as transparent as possible with our customers.
There are so many different variables in plumbing that can affect how long each job could take, and unfortunately, we cannot always give an exact cost for every job, so we charge on a per-time taken basis for smaller jobs or where we cannot quote an exact price. Our team will also try to keep you in the loop as the job progresses and inform you of any extra charges that may occur.
Below is a list of our hourly rate charges:

- $295.00 – First 30 minutes, general plumbing
- $68.00 – 15-minute increment charge after the first 30 minutes, general plumbing
- $515.00 – First hour, drain cleaning with eel or Jetter and CCTV
- $77.00 – 15-minute increment charge after the first hour, drain cleaning with eel
- $308.00 – First 30 minutes, solar hot water repairs
- $69.00 – 15-minute increment charge after the first 30 minutes, solar hot water repairs
- $470.00 – First hour, water leak locating
- $72.00 – 15-minute increment charge after the first hour, water leak locating

- After Hours:

- $610.00 – After Hours- first hour general plumbing, drain cleaning and solar hot water repairs
- $77.00 – 15-minute increment charge after the first hour

We generally do not quote for work that will take less than 4 hours. However, we are happy to provide you with an estimate upon request.
We will provide quotes for large jobs, including significant drainage repairs, hot water systems and water reroutes.
